Joyeux Noël!

Last week I was in Europe—contemplating what to do for my Christmas cards of course. So I decided to CASE an idea I saw in a Christmas market in Vienna.

First, I needed some paper, preferably in a different language. I found this book for one euro . . .

. . . while walking by this “bookstore” on the banks of the Seine in Paris.

I tore a page out of the book and used my ruler to tear smaller squares of paper.

Next, I made a Christmas tree pattern out of Whisper White Cardstock . . .

. . . and used it to cut a tree out of the middle of the square using Paper Snips (fold both before cutting).

Next, I needed something pretty to put behind this piece. I chose Coastal Cabana Cardstock . . .

. . . covered it using SNAIL Adhesive . . .
. . . and Dazzling Diamonds.

Last step—I needed a card. Cherry Cobbler Cut & Ready Card Bases were perfect! I used an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker to make a frame around the card front, then wrote Noël (go over each line at least twice).

Adhere the Coastal Cabana piece with SNAIL and the book page using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Voilà!

Joyeux Noël!
