Love at First Sight

When I saw the November Paper Pumpkin kit, it was love at first sight! Three words. Stitched. Star. Garland. Swoon!!! If I could buy this stuff by the roll I would probably end up with a stockpile to last 10 years! It is just MAGICAL! But because I only have a few precious strips, I thought I had better conserve and get the most bang for my buck, so to speak.

With that in mind, I thought I should also maximize those adorable striped cards, so I cut a piece to 3" x 3-1/4" and used the Square Framelits to create a faux Polaroid frame. Paired with a couple of beautiful Festive Flurry Framelit snowflakes, I created a fabulously fancy card—which I can use to enclose a gift card or photo to send to a special someone!

The next thing I started thinking about was getting a jump on my Christmas gift packaging. I always need cute packages to jazz up little gifts and baked goods for my friends and neighbors, so I used the extra pieces I had from the first project to decorate one of the adorable Decorative Window Gift Boxes!

Well, I hope you’re inspired to have fun with this kit and create some really special gifts for your friends and family!
