Here at Stampin’ Up! we create a bimonthly magazine for our demonstrators. It’s full of project ideas, business tips, and recognition for all the wonderful things they do every day. We wanted to share just a little bit of our May/June 2013 magazine with you. Check it out here.

    I was asked to share how I run a successful stamp camp. I hold my Stamp camps once a month on a Sunday @ 1 pm. One of my clients is a hair dresser and can only come on Sundays. The first thing I offer is a light lunch...Soup with crackers and a small dessert...chicken salad sandwich with a small side of potato salad....etc. I find that the ladies arrive and are actually anxious for lunch..they relax and talk and laugh!! 3 of my client s are diabetics ..so I want to make sure everyone is okay.. I like to see the ladies interact and at this time I have my "commercial Break" when I show the new products ..and introduce the sets we will be using. They think it's funny..but it works. I also list all the items I used for each card including prices, bling, inks etc.. So they have a number ready to order. That works great. I find that the ladies linger to continue to talk and order after we are finished with the class. I don't like to rush them . They say they love the relaxed atmospher. I charge $20 for the light lunch and 4 cards. Works for me.
