Awesome Stuff Jar

At the end of every year, I’m left with the vague feeling that a lot of good things happened over the past twelve months—but I’ve forgotten half of them! Well, I’ve found a solution: an “Awesome Stuff” jar!

When something positive happens during the year, I’ll write it down on a slip of paper and put it in the jar. On New Year’s Eve 2013, I’ll empty the jar and enjoy reading about all of the wonderful things that happened during the year! (This would be a great family activity, too!)

The Awesome Stuff jar is easy to put together:

  1. Buy a 16 oz. canning jar.
  2. Design a label and tag using My Digital Studio.
  3. Punch out a paper circle using the 2-1/2" Circle Punch and adhere it to the canning jar lid.

  4. If it is a gift, tie the instruction tag to the jar using ribbon and/or Linen Thread.

I’ve included my labels and tags if you would like to use them.

Happy New Year!

What a great idea - especially if you've been wanting to put together a gratitude journal. This might be less intimidating!
