Stampin' Up!'s mission statement, called its Statement of the Heart, reads: To love what we do and share what we love, as we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments . . . in this we make a difference. This statement includes making a difference in the world around us.
Stampin' Up! is committed to improving the lives of others through various philanthropic endeavours. In 2003, Stampin' Up! launched its Making a Difference campaign, designed to facilitate giving by the company and promote service among its demonstrators and employees. To date, Stampin' Up! has donated over $2.5 million US to several humanitarian efforts, such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities (including the Auckland House), the September 11th Disaster Relief Fund, and Save the Children's Asian tsunami disaster relief efforts. Donations to these causes is generated mainly by sales of exclusive stamp sets by dedicated demonstrators who share their time and creativity with those in need.
